Merits review
Send me the complete exhibit file, Appeals Council decision, and ALJ decision. I conduct a thorough merits review to assess the viability of federal court appeal. You receive a prompt assessment of whether I can accept the referral.
FOR ATTORNEYS AND EDPNA REPRESENTATIVES
Are you an experienced Social Security disability attorney or EDPNA who focuses on administrative hearings but finds federal court appeals outside your comfort zone? District court appeals require specialized knowledge of federal civil procedure, complex briefing requirements, and nuanced legal arguments that differ significantly from ALJ practice. A referral partnership can benefit both you and your clients.
How our referral partnership works
I offer a streamlined referral process designed to extend your advocacy while leveraging my federal court expertise.

If accepted, I handle the entire federal court process from complaint through final decision, including complaint drafting, briefing, oral argument (if required), and case resolution. Your client receives specialized federal court representation without disrupting their relationship with you.
If we achieve a remand, the case returns to you to continue representing the claimant through the administrative process.
Fee structure that works for everyone
I am compensated through EAJA fees awarded by the federal court. These fees are completely separate from Section 406(a) administrative past-due benefits. No reduction in your potential administrative fee recovery.
When we achieve success in federal court followed by administrative success, Section 406(b) fees may apply. We can discuss appropriate fee-sharing arrangements for these enhanced recovery situations. Potential for increased overall attorney compensation on successful cases.
My extensive federal court admissions allow me to handle cases across multiple jurisdictions. For courts where I'm not currently admitted, I can often seek pro hac vice admission to represent your clients anywhere in the country. This means geographic location does not have to limit your ability to provide comprehensive representation.
Why partner with us
Our referral partnership allows you to expand your service offerings while maintaining focus on your administrative practice strengths.
